When new is the right answer

Sometimes the right call is a new fitting. Even then, you have a choice.

Most of the time, the best outcome is to keep or remanufacture what you already own — that's what our audit is for. But when the economics, the technology or the condition mean new is genuinely the right answer, there's still a better and a worse way to do it. Buy the most circular product you can: designed to be repaired, upgraded and remanufactured later, not thrown away. These are the fittings we build and stand behind.

Why TM66

A score, not a slogan.

We don't ask you to take "circular" on trust. Every new fitting we make is assessed against TM66 — the industry method for scoring how circular a luminaire really is, across how it's made, maintained, reused and recovered. A high TM66 score means the product is built to last, to be serviced, and to be remanufactured at end of life instead of scrapped.

A new fitting that scores well against TM66 today is a fitting we can remanufacture for you tomorrow — keeping it in your estate, and out of the waste stream.

New — built most-circular

New fittings, designed to come back.

When new is genuinely the right answer, this is what we build. Assessed against TM66. Designed for repair, upgrade and remanufacture.

Why it's circular

CIBSE TM66-assessed with a score of 2.5 (Excellent). Housing and components are designed for repair and upgrade; built to be remanufactured to BS 8887-221:2024 at end of life rather than replaced.

Remanufactured — even better, when available

Better still than a most-circular new fitting is one that never needed making.

From time to time, as our Glasgow storage allows, we hold remanufactured luminaires — rebuilt to as-new, to BS 8887-221:2024, tested to BS EN 60598, warranted, and ready to reinstall. Availability changes; if something here fits your estate, enquire and we'll confirm current stock.

Not sure whether you need any of these?

That's the point of starting with an audit. We'll tell you honestly whether the right answer is to keep, remanufacture, or buy new — and only then which product fits. We'd rather get you the right outcome than sell you a box.
